An ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania, in the "Salt Region" (Sóvidék), 26 km far from Odorheiu Secuiesc (Székelyudvarhely).
The production of Corund (Korond) ceramic is a part of the village's life which is inherited from father to son, just like it is in our family too. All the families of the Transylvanian popular art can be found. The special created products are the ceramic: traditional ceramic with blue decoration, colorful ceramic, brown ceramic, black ceramic, white ceramic and next to these there is the unique ceramic. There can't be found two identical pieces from the ceramic products, as all of them are created by hand, so they are unique products. Can be found a large assortment of products in the following categories: wood products, ornaments, products from plaster, wool, leather.
